So i have gotten a few things in order in my life. I will most likely remove some posts here and there but for now i am leaving it up until i can get a few people involved in making this work.

i really want this not only to be a wealth of info but people to share their ideas and i want this to be a collective effort. I certainly can run this forum but it really needs others if we want a better future for ourselves and our children so they have a future on this planet to give to their children as well. So if you are reading this, do yourself a favor and pitch in. We need to clean the clutter in this world. Otherwise it's really going to look like an episode of Hoarders -

Don't think we want the planet to look like this, so society really needs to step in. We should want a non stressful, non cluttered, eco filled planet.

I do have a question for some of the new users though, do you have to wait for a moderator to get your profile active or is it something else? I seem to have folks on here where they sign on yet their profile is inactive. Not sure what is going on there, working out several bugs and for now i am just editing/banning or activating users. Eventually there will be a garbage for inappropriate topics being posted (especially those that seem to just be copy/paste posts) but we are all adults here, at the very least mature. You can have fun, joke around on here if you want and usually i think i am a pretty easy mod to work with. There simply just won't be disrespect or disgusting posts on here that is not typically common.

For now i have set an undetermined amount of ban time on here but anyone who can't work with common sense, ie: don't post disgusting porn, flame others, or say disrespectful/hurtful things. There will be heated topics from time to time and long as there is proper order everything will be fine. People can talk about serious stuff without getting all worked up about it so there is no reason we can't work together here and have a good time in the process. It can be challenging to want to change our lifestyles, change habits and changing the world little by little from doing a few compromises and learning to let go of the things that are simply holding ourselves back from reaching our full potential. The world is full of great, wonderful things that is often time wasted due to the overwhelming problems this world has. So by taking a positive standpoint, not a negative one. Sometimes you need to look at the problem and see it from a positive standpoint by saying something like "wow cars today are really unsafe, i can't do anything about it other than trying to drive safer keeping my car in order and having one that can handle most any situation and hopefully car companies can improve on them and make it nearly impossible for them to crash"

However, just by thinking that creating a better car is impossible due to money, greed, ect.. is just weighing down the positivity of the situation and car companies are consistently improving vehicles even though it might seem like a slow process and they can do more by simply redesigning the car and roads but well part of it is that we don't bother to look at other aspects too like what a person behind the wheel is feeling so basically rather than focusing on the blame, which is often times the root cause of why cars are still unsafe to this day we don't put the blame on ourselves and start thinking what we really could do to improve the situation so it doesn't happen again. And i'm not an economist, politician or lawyer but there does have to be a way out of this situation, our ever growing problem this world is facing and that is a lack of learning/teaching. Sure there are schools and they teach many different things but not everything, every child should learn and that is how to think analytically. Maybe that might be impossible or too many environmental factors are causing the impossibility but if we were to start somewhere today.. we could start to see some major improvements by 2025 or later. But again, it starts with all of us.

It starts with me, what am i doing (well besides posting in here and trying to teach others to be more conscious about what is happening around them). What i already do, i save what i can, utilize what i can using as few resources as possible. That is a starting point for me. It's pretty much all i can do besides trying to teach others to do the same or at the very least think about what is going on. I am also focused on getting rid of what i do not need and start considering getting rid of most of my possessions. I don't buy much of anything right now except food, gas, and whatever else i need to survive. I might randomly buy an item i like but i am starting to give up on other things like needing a cd, movie or whatever it is. Will i give up this permanently? I dunno. I have enough for what i need. I have a computer, actually several some of them are junk though which will be recycled soon, just need to actively look for this supposed recycling center that just has eluded me. I had figured it shut down or something. There are a few basic ones but are in bad areas so that is a nope for me.

Anyway that is a bit of what i am doing. I am not trying to force people into doing something they do not want to do but i know i think people should step to the plate and try to do all that they can and really if you recycle yourself, if you drive an eco car or help out the needy that is good. I think what i am looking for is those who have an active/analytical mind that can put forth ideas and new ways of getting things done so society can do it without even having to worry about lifting much more than a finger. Does that mean society will always be sheep and simply follow the leader? Maybe.. but again i am a supporter of The Venus Project so naturally i would love to see our world head in that direction and it is possible we just have a whole ton of work to do and it might take a good 50-100 years to make it happen but that shouldn't matter. We just need to rebuild the foundation so that way TVP is much more of a reality. And besides talking about it, we need to work together to make it happen. I'm no engineer, scientist, carpenter or plumber.. i'm just a regular guy who often times will try to work on my own car when i can, try to help out others who are struggling with today's technology and i can come up with a few ideas of my own.. but otherwise i think the bottom line is, i know that this can work. It's that many people out there do not or cannot put the effort into making a new world possible. But anyways, that is the whole basics here and how we should focus but it's not me that wants this, i know plenty of other people do.. most people who have various problems with finding jobs, keeping up bills, struggling with depression for whatever reason, i don't like to see that. It makes it harder for me to want to stay alive and it's sad that we have finally come to a crossroads of what to do, most people just want to stay on the same road they were, others want to take a different path. People like me, it's just simply a journey. I don't want to be stuck all my life working a 9-5 job or having random hours for 30-40 hours and struggling with bills. I am already looking for a 2nd job and i am determined this time to make it happen so now i make frequent trips to a local job center/unemployment because i do want better opportunities so i can do so much more than just simply recycle, i want to do the whole works and try to properly educate people on what we really should be focusing on us.

We have 2 choices.

1. We continue to live in our daily lives and let the profit mindset take the course. Or..
2. We can take action and consider what we are doing and attempt to move forward, working together to benefit ourselves, to enrich our lives.

I would rather take benefit one another over profit anyday. Profit doesn't have the benefit of extra help, maximise resources and overall you will feel good at the end of the day and you will be focused on handling the next problem life throws at us. New problems are not always good but being able to remove the same problems that often recur are often the most annoying ones. But we will have fewer problems and can handle new problems much easier when we have everything we need to logically deal with these new situations.
